Reuse & Repurpose

It's very tempting to throw things away or even drop them in a recycling bin when we are done with them. Is there a better way?

Share your ideas for extending the “lives” of the items that we buy and use, and their packaging as well!

Recyling

Of course most people would say recycling is the solution, but they don't say how. On the internet there are many post of how to reuse something damaged or we no longer need to something useful and beautiful, or an orniment.

I really love this idea. Yes, recycling is good for the community but reusing objects like this is fun! It's interactive and can seem like it's not something we should do, but want to do. I will do this in the future with some old shirts that can be put to more use.

recycling is also a good way to cut down on costs because you can make something rather that buy it bran new and it will be your own thing that you made.

Recycling is a great way to go and because if you throw it in the trash who knows where it will end up it could kill some animals if they end up eating the plastic or some how getting the plastic on them to suffocate themselves

When something goes to a recycling plant, it takes energy and money to actually recycle the product. So reusing is even better.

When I'm done with my stuff I drive out into the forest and dump it there to rot. I take all my trash and dump it in a nearby river. People tell me the way I get rid of my garbage is not healthy for the environment, but I don't care. Recycling isn't important because everything ends up back in the earth eventually, it doesn't matter how many times you use it.

I think using plastic containers is a great way to reuse plastic and to limit our effect on the environment. It can also save money.
