One thing I did recently is I turned my old T-shirt into a rope toy for my dog. It was super easy, and a great way to reuse something I didn't need anymore.
I got an old shoe box, saved toilet paper rolls, and glued the paper roles in the shoe box to organize my pens, pencils, markers, etc.
Sometimes I use my old candle jars to keep my pencils in
Their are lots of ways you can reuse old items in your house. If you go on Pinterest, (an app) you can find so many ways to make old things into cute D.I.Y. projects (do it yourself).
I recently made an art supplies organizer out of a box of old snack boxes, (cereal, cheez-its, tea, ect), a bunch of toilet paper tubes, and a large shoe box. It was a great way to organize my art supplies up and use a bunch of old stuff that wouldn't have been used.
hey madilyn can you post a link to a web site (if there is one that you used) to make the rope toy? I guess you'd need a good way to keep it intact in the mouth of a vicious t-shirt attack dog ![]()
You can make fun toys for small pets using recycled cardboard. I make little houses for my guinea pigs all the time and they love it.
