It's very tempting to throw things away or even drop them in a recycling bin when we are done with them. Is there a better way?

Reuse more containers
Sometimes when you finish drinking a water bottle or eating your sandwich you could use that bottle for a refill or use your ziplock bag again if it's possible. I mean take a moment think about it, not all the times you could do that but if you can do it. If you can't always try to recycle.

I used to carry my lunch food in plastic ziplock bags. Just recently i have begun to switch and use reusable containers. This has reduced my carbon footprint greatly.
Sometimes I do the same thing, waste plastic bags but there are such things as reusable lunch bags so maybe that would help
So are you saying like if you go to KFC and get a side dish that says that it is reusable, you could just wash it out and use it again for other food? Also, why do people use different plastic bottles, wasting money, when they can just reuse the plastic bottles?
One thing i know i'm really guilty of, is wasting zip-lock bags, for my lunch snacks, while i do get large sized snacks, i still use a ton of zip-locks.
In the future, i think we should have to bring our own containers to places such of QFC, and if you don't bring it, you get charged carbon tax, if you bring a container, you shouldn't get taxed.
