Why don't we create aour own trendy-clothes?

In the moment that fashion changes, everybody buys new clothes. I saw, a few days ago, a documentary which says that for a normal pajama are needed *litres* of water. My question is: why don't we reuse those that we have? You know, there are a lot of ideas in Internet for make that old clothes seem new! Let's use those ideas! Stop buying new clothes every 6 months! It's time for a change!
