Buying everything new hurts the environment because it creates a lot of extra waste and pollution in the atmosphere. However, if people reuse old items and turn them into different, useful things, this will benefit humans in the future. For instance, when I had old shoes laying around, I turned them into planters by just putting soil and plants in the shoes.

I fully agree with you. There are a lot of ideas on the internet to create interesting thing from unnecessary items.
