It's very tempting to throw things away or even drop them in a recycling bin when we are done with them. Is there a better way?

Repurpose
One fun, easy way that you could reduce your carbon footprint is by repurposing and refurbishing old clothing to make it new again! By doing this, you don't have to 1) spend more money on new clothing and 2) add more emissions into the air due to the factories that make the clothes and the transportation of these clothes. By remaking them, you can style them to yourself and it's not very hard! Also, by using creativity, you can create cool projects out of old household items. An example is if you were trying to make a picture frame out of wood. At the same time, your family is tearing down an old barn on their property. You could use the old barn would to create tons of unique picture frames without harming more trees and damaging an ecosystem. So repurpose your old stuff, it could make anything!
