Bio-diesel?
It reuses waste, but i don't know if it emits anything more harmful than the good it does.
Hi Philip! Thank you for mentioning the topic of bio-diesel. According to the EPA (United States Environmental Protection Agency) , bio-diesel improves air quality reducing greenhouse gases, minimizes waste by using waste cooking oil in the fuel, and it improves water quality, lessening water contamination in sewers. However, there are concerns regarding the nitrogen oxide emissions of bio-diesel. The relation between nitrogen oxide emissions and bio-diesel are still uncertain but the EPA has funded some projects in order to test whether or not bio-diesel lessens or contributes to the emissions.
