It's very tempting to throw things away or even drop them in a recycling bin when we are done with them. Is there a better way?

Reuse and Repurpose
Reusing and repurposing items is a good way to reduce greenhouse gas emissions, which is better for the environment. By not throwing items away, less pollution is created, and less energy is used from the materials used to make items. If people reused things until they were defunct, energy would be saved and the environment would be greener.
How to reuse and Repurpose
Climate change has a major effect in the climates which includes: rainfall, precipitation, snow and wind. This major change could even last for decades. Then human activities such as burning fuel, and cutting trees just help scientists prove how climate change is real and it’s happening. We can help with this issues by doing 3 things: Reduce, Reuse, Recycle. Recycling only takes a small amount of time and patients but can really benefit the Earth. Making a few changes in your habits can make a huge difference. Reusing bags for groceries, recycling your batteries, and changing your brands of light bulbs can also decrease these changes for a better outcome.
When hurricane Sandy struck and caused major damage it affected millions. As the storms got worse and became more and more frequent, climate change became a major discussion. It was thought that if we make important decisions with our personal habits and products we buy we can possibly decrease our climate change. Some things you can do to reduce and also save money is:
Turn down the thermostat by at least 3 degrees
Replace incandescent light bulbs with CFl’s
Keep you tires inflated and your cars tuned
Reduce your shower time by 2 minutes
