Did you know just one plastic water bottle takes hundreds of years to decompose therefore crowding landfills? Whereas, reusable water bottles are a cheaper and environmentally friendly option. Here are just a few reasons why reusable water bottles are a better choice than plastic. Buying plastic water bottles ,over time, become 500 times the price of buying and reusing one bottle. Almost all public spaces have a water fountain, so refilling your reusable water bottle would be very convenient. Reusing water bottles decreases the amount of bottles produced therefore reducing the amount of fossil fuels emitted into the atmosphere during production. Also, reusable water bottles are healthier for you and your family if purchasing a BPA-free, lead-free bottle. They are more durable and can be customized to fit your personality or interests. It is obvious that reusable water bottles are better for the environment, yet millions of plastic bottles are bought each year and people do not recycle them, polluting our Earth.
