There's multiple ways we can reuse things and give them a purpose. Items we can reuse include newspapers, magazines, and broken dishes. I've used newspapers to make a woven basket and you can also use it as wrapping paper. You can also do the same thing with magazines. You can reuse any broken dish to make a flower pot or even pretty jewelry.

I agree with you Tori. There are a million different things you can reuse, and repurpose. I think most Americans today are fairly wasteful because they don't see a need to reuse different things when they can just go buy it at their local store. One thing I always notice is that older people tend to save as much stuff as they can because they lived in times such as the great depression, where they saved as much stuff as they could because they had no money and their were very little products available. Today if people started to think about the things they are wasting that they could reuse it could make a big difference. Not only will it save the material they would possibly throw away it will prevent wasting the newer material and all the packaging that it comes in.

I agree with you. There are many things that we humans dispose of when we son't even realize we could be reusing them. Anything made from cloth that is either ripped or no longer fits could be reused and made into another piece of clothing, or made into an art project. Something else that is often wasted is old school supplies. Instead of throwing out your binders and folders at the end of the year, you can pass them on to a sibling or someone else so that they dont have to waste resources and buy their own. The idea about using newspaper as wrapping paper is a very good idea and I am going to start doing it so that I dont contribute to cutting down more trees to cover up something that is just going to get ripped open anyways.

I certainly agree with you Tori Jacobs. There are a lot of things we can reuse instead of just wasting it. Nowadays, many people just waste things without even thinking before they waste it. For example, bags that we often get from the grocery store or just shopping can be used as pet waste bags, trash bins, or even reused at the grocery store. If we all come together and reuse things this generation would be awesome. It would allow less need for other resources all around the world.
