It's very tempting to throw things away or even drop them in a recycling bin when we are done with them. Is there a better way?

Reuse and repurpose
There are many easy ways to extend the lives of items that we buy and use. We can use reusable water bottles instead of a million plastic bottles. We can also find more efficient ways to use and reuse energy in our everyday lives. Using products that are recyclable can have a huge impact.
I agree, so many times, we throw things away that we can actually still use or use for something other than it's original purpose or just keep using. Also, not only should we try to reuse and repurpose, but we should also limit the amount of stuff we buy in the first place. I bet most of the stuff we buy we don't actually need and a good amount of it we don't even want in the long run. Limiting the amount of stuff we buy would be better than reuse and repurposing because that would lead to less waste, which would contribute to reducing global warming. Another thing, is even though we have compost and recycling, which are better than trash, they are still waste and would be good to limit amount of wast produced.
