Many public areas only have trash bins, not recycle or compost. By adding these bins we could decrease the amount of trash going to the landfill. However, many people in the US simply don't care to put things in the right bin or in any bin at all. To try and solve this problem we could try to educate people of the damages of littering and putting things in the landfill, which would reduce the need to create new materials in factories and prevent more landfills from being made.
