It's very tempting to throw things away or even drop them in a recycling bin when we are done with them. Is there a better way?

Reusable Ideas
In order to achieve a more sustainable environment, along with creating a cleaner earth, we must learn to reuse the simple things, whether you’re at home, work, school, or on vacation. At home, glass jars or old coffee cans are a perfect storage space for things like food in the pantry or pencils on your desk. At home, I like to use paper bags to collect trash in my room, and when I was younger I remember using them at book covers for my school textbooks. Even if you stain towels or they begin to wear out, you can cut them up and use them as small cleaning rags for your kitchen. I also know a lot of wind instrument players that use them to clean their instruments after playing. Instead of going out every year and purchasing seeds at a local store, you can just collect them after growing season! You can also reuse wrapping paper for another gift you want to wrap. At home, I usually collect birthday bags with my family so that I have some just in time for the holida y seasons. Lastly, you can always come up with DIYs or make artwork at home out of trash. Get creative!
I totally agree with you! Another reusable idea is to use reusable waterbottles instead of using plastic waterbottles. These plastic watterbottles fill up landfills and take hundreds of years to decompose. Also, when you are at a store, you can use reusable bags instead of buying a plastic or paper bag each time you go. These plastic bags are harmful to our oceans, as they kill wildlife. We can easily prevent this by using reusable bags! Another simple idea is to use a reusable lunch bag, instead of using paper bags everyday. This also eliminates the amount of trash we produce and can lower your carbon footprint.
