It's very tempting to throw things away or even drop them in a recycling bin when we are done with them. Is there a better way?

Reuse and Recycle
Many things are being thrown into dumps only to sit there and build up. Thankfully there are solutions to this problem such as recycling things that you would otherwise throw away. By recycling, materials are being taken and reused as material for a new purpose. There are many reasons why recycling is worthwhile and important. First, many environmental benefits come from Recycling. By recycling you are directly contributing reduce global environmental damage. Furthermore, by recycling more, you become conscious of the things that you buy and refrain from buying unwanted items that will later be thrown away. Another benefit to recycling that isn't commonly talked about is how it opens up opportunities for jobs. In addition to helping the environment, recycling helps the economy. The more people that recycle, the more people are needed to sort the different kind of recyclable materials at the recycling plants. This most likely is not talked about as much because it doesn't have to do with sustainability, but I feel it is still a bonus to Recycling.
I agree with this because when we just throw things away they can sit for hundreds of years. When we recycle it benefits the economy and we can also reuse it and make it into other things that we need like bags and water bottles. Even without the bonus of creating even more jobs for unemployed people it already has enormous benefits that could help out our world dramatically.
I agree that recycling is important to better our planet. For one, recycling has no noticeable downsides. Recycling makes the most our resources. Instead of just once use, garbage can be made into other things, this has a huge benefit on our carbon emissions, instead of just having lots of garbage sitting around or incinerated, they can be put back into the system, cutting down on the need for producing more goods when they can be made with recycled materials
I agree that recycling and composing are the best alternatives to help the environment. As recycling waste can be reused and made into other useful items and products instead of throwing them away and letting the harmful chemicals inside plastic decompose into the soil. Because as these awful chemicals get in the environment it hinders the growth of plant life in that area as well as taints the water. Consequently, the now tainted resources kill the wildlife who unknowingly drink the spoiled water as well as eat the deadly grass/plants. Recycling would solve all of these problems as the chemicals would not have a chance to decompose into the ground as it will be created into a new product instead of lying in a landfill.
