Since the items will have already been used, their will be little to none packaging. This means that people can get their items without plastic, or other toxic materials on them. Reusing and recycling clothing is a great thing for the environment that more people should contribute to.

I agree that donating clothing and buying it second hand can be very beneficial for the environment. The clothing industry doesn't always have the most ethical practices and can cause serious harm to the environment because of how much energy they use (this energy is rarely sustainable). Donating clothes is an easy, cost-free, and effective way to help the environment.

I agree with the points made in this post. Giving away will reduce the amount of consumption of new items by others, thus reducing the need for manufacturing which in turn will help pollution/carbon footprint. Another option is to donate clothes to the needy so you are helping the environment and helping humanity. Also, consuming items made from biodegradable materials would help when we have to dump/recycle used items that cannot be donated.

This gives us an idea that the volume of recycling of clothes is considerable and thus have an effect on the effort for saving the planet from unessesary climate effects.
