There are many cool ways to reuse newspapers and magazines. Some of the neat ways that you can repurpose or reuse magazines are to make envelopes out of them, 3D butterfly art, subscription card bracelet, a mini basket made out of magazine, use it as a cover for a notebook (like a decoration), origami bows,  and sculptures. The other cool ways that we can reuse newspapers is that we can make a wallpaper out of them, make a dress (although it would look really bad because it will have words written all over it), a wedding bouquet, enhanced leaves, gift bags, sailor hats, and soil pots.  These are the creative ways in which you can reuse these items. Reusing and repurposing these items will help to save energy from recycling them and it will save the Earth by using less energy and throwing it away (incinerating them or putting them in the landfills). Landfills release toxic chemicals into the atmosphere (such as methanes and leachates in the groundwater system). If you happen to throw these things away, this is what will happen and it could cause more harm than good. It af fects human health and other species. If you recycle newspapers and magazines, there is a process that is used to recycle them and it uses machines that release toxic chemicals into the atmosphere. As a result, reusing and repurposing is the best way to save the Earth and the atmosphere from toxic chemicals.

You are absolutely right. Reusing our waste in different ways to serve a different purpose is a crucial factor in trying to save our environment and the general Earth. I really like the idea of making sculptures and baskets. They both show people they see it that we need to reuse our waste and to reuse it in a way that still can be enjoyed in everyday life.

i agree because we forget how cool some of the diy projects that we have come up with can be. these are fun green ways to better our environment. i think it is important for all those people out there that think everyone else is goin got save that environment to see that they can help to. it only one diy headband of bracelet away. even the smallest things count because no matter what its still one tiny step closer to saving our environment.
