It's very tempting to throw things away or even drop them in a recycling bin when we are done with them. Is there a better way?

We need better recycling processes
As of right now recycling is helping alot and it works. But not everyone is used to recycling and just straight up throw whatever waste they produce in the trash instead of recycling it, it is most likely due to laziness or ignorance. Therefore we need something that could help that process of having to recycle by making some kind of automated recycling bin or something like that which would waste less of your time to recycle and you can focus on protecting the environment more. But that kind of technology would probably cost a lot and not many people would buy that kind of thing, still anyway that we can make it so that lazier people would even want to contribute will significantly increase the amount of people that recycle instead of throwing everything in the trash
I agree with what you said, I think that people should get educated about recycling and start doing it. My whole family recycles, and others too, but I think that if more people did it, it would help the environment greatly. Everyone should and can work together to make our Earth healthier.
I agree with your statement. Many people do not throw away their trash in proper bins and completely disregard any warning about the possible consequences. I think that people should be better informed about the fate of our planet if this behavior continues so they can realize how they are harming us all.
I agree with your idea of requiring better recycling processes, but I believe that people don't recycle and compost because they do not see the immediate benefits or because access to easy recycling and composting in certain areas in limited. I recently read a Mashable report on one of these automatic composting bins that would change compost into soil. The "ZERA Food Recycler" supposedly reduces food waste by over 2/3 of its original volume and turns it into soil in 24 hours. However, the recurring problem with this machine is its accessibility. The ZERA Food Recycler costs $130 USD, which is not terribly pricey for US citizens, but many people around the world and even the US lower class can't afford to spend this kind of money because they need to spend it on their immediate survival needs. I think that cities should have a cheap, larger-scaled food recycler where people can drop off their compost. Additionally, I think that getting something back such as veget able seeds along with a flower pot with their soil could help encourage people to make the effort and recycle. https://mashable.com/2017/01/27/food-re … dkkRg7J8q0
I agree that we need a better, more efficient way to recycle. All the school I have attended have had the three bins, which gives people the opportunity to recycle, but it does make it mandatory. I hope we find a solution and put a system in place that makes it necessary to sort waste correctly. I personally have trash, compost and recycling at home, but many homes I have visited only have one trash can. I think making small changes, such as putting waste in the correct bins and implementing the "three bin system" in homes would make a large difference.
