Reusing items that we buy and use can definitely help reduce the amount of waste that is thrown into our environment. There are many was to reuse many different items. Obviously, people should use reusable containers and water bottles instead of plastic bags or bottles. These containers are better for the environment and are more convenient for buyers. Although this is a basic way to reuse items, there are more unconventional ways. When I was younger, my family and I went on a vacation. While shopping on the streets, we came across this super cool stand that was selling bags. These bags were made of different wrappers from candy or other products. The reuse of these wrappers help protect the earth and turn reusable items into fun accessories. There are many ways that people can reuse products, whether it's basic or different, it is better for the environment.

I agree that reusing items that we buy can help reduce the amount of waste that effects our environment. Most people know that reusing items help decrease the amount of waste. However, I feel like people subconsciously make the decision to not consume or buy something that helps the environment because of personal taste. There are things in our daily routine we can reuse. Paper bags, like the type of bags you find at groceries, can be reused for many things besides carrying food. Old clothes can be turned into new accessories or given to Good Will instead of being carelessly tossed away. People can also do small things daily when it comes to recycling. For example, in the market by my house, they sell water contained in a cardboard box labeled in black bold letters, "Boxed Water is Better". This type of water helps the environment through recycling and something I feel like people should invest in because they're as convenient as buying plastic water bottles. I feel like reusing and recycling are too important and easy things people don't do.

I think the bags made out of wrappers is a really interesting idea. Just like the bags, we can all use our creativity to repurpose objects. One way I sometimes look at it is to not take things for granted. I sometimes imagine that would if a plastic water bottle was the only water bottle I had. I would definitely want to reuse it. I believe if people don't always have the mindset of "you can just buy another" or "it is easier to throw it away" then we can make the environment better.
