It is always the best to recycle than trashing items, because trashing them would lead to some polluted oceans, just like ours with the plastic, and even though recycling consistently sounds like something that could only be possible in a Utopian Society, it is still the best to do what we can do.

I completely agree with you on this topic of recycling. While recycling things does not guarantee they are able to be reused it helps much more than just throwing them away. Recycling can help reuse materials but also create jobs for people. According to the EPA (Environmental Protection Agency) here in the US only 30% of trash is recycled of the 75% that could be. If people took time to actually recycle then we could live in the utopian society you mentioned. While it may seem hard to actually contribute to reducing the amount of trash we throw away, doing your part and recycling is a worthwhile endeavor and if enough people do it we can make a real difference.
