It's very tempting to throw things away or even drop them in a recycling bin when we are done with them. Is there a better way?

Repurpose & Reuse
We should always reuse or repurpose. Its easy to do and costs nothing. If you have a old water bottle it can be refilled and reused. Used paper that has a open backside can be used for a new purpose. If your ever about to throw something away, think "can I use this for anything else" before you throw it away. Somethings shouldn't be reused or repurposed like a bottle of bleach for variable reasons, for bleach its that the chemicals stay in the plastic and leach into liquids. Repurposing is just as easy. Part of a old mattress could be used for a pet bed. Reusing and Repurposing saves you money and lowers your carbon footprint.
I totally agree. I think people should not only recycle household materials like paper, but also things like clothing! Second-hand shopping is a great way to reduce your personal waste. It is much cheaper, too! I think that being aware of what waste can be recycled is very significant. Educate yourself and help the Earth!
