It's very tempting to throw things away or even drop them in a recycling bin when we are done with them. Is there a better way?

Reuse and Repurpose
Every year in America, on average we as individuals throw out around an average of 2, 555 pounds of trash. When hearing these statistics, many people may be shocked and want to know what they can do to cut down on those numbers. A great way to do this is by reusing and repurposing products, instead of just throwing them away. There are multiple ways we can do this including composting. Many people don’t realize that much of our waste is biodegradable, and can actually give back to the environment in ways such as mulch. I believe that if people made more of a conscience effort to cut down on their waste, and reuse/repurpose products, we could greatly cut down on our effects on the environment.
I agree, In addition to reusing your plastic waste it is also bennificial to be aware of the packaging your products come in. For example when picking your milk and dairy products gravitate tword those who you can easily reuse or are easier to recycle. It could also help to buy some things in bulk, I know my family buys their popcorn in bulk because of the ridiculous amount we consume on a monthly basis.
