It can be very useful to repurpose things and some people don't know that.
The idea behind repurposing is that someone would take something that was already used and make it something else that's just as useful.  One example of repurposing is using a ladder as a shelf.  It can really reduce waste and make for a pretty fun time making a new toy.  Waste can make up a lot of extra damage to your carbon footprint and that can make it a lot worse on the environment.  So reusing that waste would be much healthier for your carbon footprint.  reusing can be even better than recycling as reusing doesn't even use the big machines to filter the things.  Repurposing can be done without any machines at all.

This is a great observation. I don't know if i'm the only one that has noticed, but many people on social media and other resources have been posting/sharing different ways you can reuse items. I think social media is a great way to show people different ways they can help reduce their carbon foot print. I also think its important people start learning about what a carbon footprint because I don't think very many people even know what it is and how much it is effecting the environment.
