All of you have calculated your emissions and you have surely discovered the unexpectedly high impact of some of your behaviors (eating meat, flying to a sunny destination, etc.) on your total footprints.
Are there any behaviors that you are really willing to change or to improve for the sake of the environment? What challenges do you encounter or think you will encounter while trying to change these things? What help, support, and insights from others would make your life easier with these new behaviors?
Let's discuss these issues and make our pledges here!

Bathing in CO2 Emissions
Whenever possible, showers should be taken instead of baths. Showers use a lot less water and only require 1/5 of the amount of energy that baths do. Even though showering is better than bathing, try to reduce your shower time and temperature as well. Even though lots of people, including me, love taking long, hot showers, taking colder and shorter showers can greatly reduce your carbon footprint. For instance, if you were to take 8 minute long instead of 6 minute long showers for a month, you would reduce your CO2 emissions by 15.3 lbs. Even just a few minutes less in the shower at a slightly cooler temperature can help reduce your carbon footprint and your monthly water bill. Be a responsible citizen of the earth and take action by reducing your shower time today.
