Are there any behaviors that you are really willing to change or to improve for the sake of the environment? Now It's Time for Action >
Flushed Away
More than a quarter of water used in American house holds are used for the toilet. Larger spending toilets can use up to 7 gallons or 26 liters of water, that's an insane amount. It would be in the best interest of both your water bill and your Earth if you retrofit your toilets by putting something in the back tank to use less water per flush or getting a new flushing system all the time. Every little bit counts, and if you live in a multiple family home a lot of water can be saved on a daily basis. This page has some info on water use in toilets, if you are interested check it out: http://www.conserveh2o.org/toilet-water-use
