All of you have calculated your emissions and you have surely discovered the unexpectedly high impact of some of your behaviors (eating meat, flying to a sunny destination, etc.) on your total footprints.
Are there any behaviors that you are really willing to change or to improve for the sake of the environment? What challenges do you encounter or think you will encounter while trying to change these things? What help, support, and insights from others would make your life easier with these new behaviors?
Let's discuss these issues and make our pledges here!

Flights
Airplanes put a lot of pollution into the environment, so we need a combination of both not traveling as much in them (especially long distance) as well as finding a better fuel source as not flying in airplanes in this society today is not very realistic in these global economies. Businesses would have a hard time as well with this change.
I completely agree with you Michael! I was also thinking a lot about what some solutions were to this issue. I was thinking that you could reduce the size of the aircraft so not as much fuel would be let out into the air, but as I was thinking about that I realized that then not as many people would be able to fit on each plane, making it so that more and more planes would be needed. I think this is a really interesting topic.
