All of you have calculated your emissions and you have surely discovered the unexpectedly high impact of some of your behaviors (eating meat, flying to a sunny destination, etc.) on your total footprints.
Are there any behaviors that you are really willing to change or to improve for the sake of the environment? What challenges do you encounter or think you will encounter while trying to change these things? What help, support, and insights from others would make your life easier with these new behaviors?
Let's discuss these issues and make our pledges here!

Other Means of Transport
Due to transportation impacting our Carbon Footprint the most, I think we should try and lower the amount of CO2 gas emissions we are around. People could start walking, biking, or taking other means of transport that would reduce our overall CO2 emissions. In addition, people can exercise while going to and from places.
I agree that biking and walking will greatly reduce our carbon footprint. Although carpooling is another good option to lessen the amount of CO2 gas emissions, biking and walking won't emit any CO2 gas.
Although it is sort of unreasonable to try and have people give up on driving, there are ways to cut down on the use of CO2 and other harmful gasses in the atmosphere caused by driving. The biggest problem with cars is the gas and the pollution caused by cars. Like you guys said, you can cut down the overall use of CO2 by carpooling, riding the bike, walking/running, or even skateboarding. Using gasoline is harmful because it makes the air dirty and very polluted. Overall the cut back of driving can help clear the air like this website says:

I think that while we should be cutting down car emissions, we shouldnt cut off cars completly. Some people have to travel long distances to get to work or to school. I think what we need to do is put more investment into cleaner sources of energy for cars, thankfully there have been advances in algae based oil and I think as a country we should invest in this oportunity
