All of you have calculated your emissions and you have surely discovered the unexpectedly high impact of some of your behaviors (eating meat, flying to a sunny destination, etc.) on your total footprints.
Are there any behaviors that you are really willing to change or to improve for the sake of the environment? What challenges do you encounter or think you will encounter while trying to change these things? What help, support, and insights from others would make your life easier with these new behaviors?
Let's discuss these issues and make our pledges here!
Now It's Time for Action >
Stop Talking and Start Doing
So people are starting to realize, yes this Climate Change thing is real. But instead of us just saying these things lets actually act on them and lets cut back on the small things that we don't need. Along with not getting what we want instead of needing, let's do the things like turning off all the lights in the house when we leave or don't need them on, or turning off your phone or other electronics when you don't need them on like when you are at school. These small things that we think are dumb or useless could really be a big difference maker in the problem that we have on our hands. If we really want to change our ways, we will have to make really big changes. But the small things that every single one of us could do are also very important.
I totally agree! What's the point of talking about change if we don't put our ideas into affect.
