Limit Water Usage

If we limit the usage of water in our homes, we are able to save energy. Limiting water usage can be done by decreasing your shower time and taking shorter showers, repairing any water leaks you find in your home when necessary, and don’t leave the water faucet running when it isn’t being used.

Great point Kimberly! Too much water is being wasted in our homes and we should try to teach ourselves to find more ways to be conservative around the house

I agree. We do use too much water daily. One way I think we can save some water is by installing toilets that use less water. Another way is to use the same water when washing your dishes and pouring it out after one week. This can help save a lot of water, but it can also help you in everyday necessities.

Using less water can be one of the simplest ways to help out.

Another way we could save a lot of water is by turning off the water while shampooing and using soap. This could save gallons of water a week during showers. A lot of water is wasted by us just standing in the shower

Conserving water is very important. We can save water by doing many things including: taking shorter showers,  making sure we turn off the sink when brushing our teeth, frequently check to make sure there are no leaks in your faucets, and only use your dishwasher when it is all the way full.

I agree, we need to cut down our water usage and just doing a few simple things can make a big impact.  Just by turning of the water while brushing your teeth can save 6 liters a minute. We can also only use our dishwashers and washing machines when they are full. If you just leave one faucet dripping it can waste 20 gallons of water a day. By doing these things we can reduce our carbon footprint and help the earth.
