All of you have calculated your emissions and you have surely discovered the unexpectedly high impact of some of your behaviors (eating meat, flying to a sunny destination, etc.) on your total footprints.
Are there any behaviors that you are really willing to change or to improve for the sake of the environment? What challenges do you encounter or think you will encounter while trying to change these things? What help, support, and insights from others would make your life easier with these new behaviors?
Let's discuss these issues and make our pledges here!

What I Can Do
There's a lot I can do to help reduce mine and my community's carbon footprint. Firstly I will start with educating others of the causes of climate change. Not just about the fossil fuels but also the agriculture, ocean acidification and soil degradation, other things that people do not often hear about climate change. Then we can start with our school. Students in my school are not informed enough about what is biodegradable, compostable, and what is the difference between them. We can help by setting up better signage on the bins and putting up different languages on them. Another thing I can do in my community is to buy locally grown food. My family often just buys from regular stores, and we do not really know if they are organic/locally grown or not. When there not locally grown, they usually flew in from other places and using energy to ship them to us.
It's amazing how quickly students can influence their peers in positive ways.
