When I calculated my carbon footprint I was astonished with how much my carbon footprint was above the average persons. When I looked back to find out why my carbon footprint was so high I found that it was primarily because my house is heating using gas. If I could change this I would use an electrical heating system because that would reduce my carbon footprint to below the average persons. This shows how by just changing one aspect of your life you could reduce your carbon footprint by a lot.
