All of you have calculated your emissions and you have surely discovered the unexpectedly high impact of some of your behaviors (eating meat, flying to a sunny destination, etc.) on your total footprints.

Are there any behaviors that you are really willing to change or to improve for the sake of the environment? What challenges do you encounter or think you will encounter while trying to change these things? What help, support, and insights from others would make your life easier with these new behaviors?

Turning off the lights and ac

sim0404

My carbon foot print for my home compared to my region is 6 times larger which is quite a lot. It mainly has to do with the waste of lights and air condition. You can reduce your carbon footprint a lot by just pressing a few buttons and it doesn’t require much work. Many people forget to turn off the lights or their air conditioning when they are not in the room or house. I forget to do this too. We need to conserve energy. If nobody is in the house, turn your ac off. So, turn off any energy things when you’re not using them because it will help the environment and save you money.
