Now It's Time for Action!

All of you have calculated your emissions and you have surely discovered the unexpectedly high impact of some of your behaviors (eating meat, flying to a sunny destination, etc.) on your total footprints.

Are there any behaviors that you are really willing to change or to improve for the sake of the environment? What challenges do you encounter or think you will encounter while trying to change these things? What help, support, and insights from others would make your life easier with these new behaviors?

Let's discuss these issues and make our pledges here!

Changes in the Society

I feel like people should really look out for what they do and the things that they use. People sometimes don't know that some of the things they do can hugely affect our environment. I think that people should try and be aware about how much we purchase and how many times and how far we use transportation. Some ways to do that is to either carpool with somebody or use Bart or the Subway.

I agree with you. I believe people purchase a many of things. Sometimes when they buy things it will be the same exact thing jsut maybe a different color or size such as Jordans. Also transportation is used greatly by all age groups. I experience this myself firsthand. I take uber almost everywhere I go and if not that then I am getting a ride from my family. Yes, I think people should be aware of how much they purchase and the variety of stuff they purchase. Also transportation could be cut down greatly. As you stated carpooling or taking bart/subway.
