Now It's Time for Action!

All of you have calculated your emissions and you have surely discovered the unexpectedly high impact of some of your behaviors (eating meat, flying to a sunny destination, etc.) on your total footprints.

Are there any behaviors that you are really willing to change or to improve for the sake of the environment? What challenges do you encounter or think you will encounter while trying to change these things? What help, support, and insights from others would make your life easier with these new behaviors?

Changes for the Better

I believe that from calculating my carbon footprint I will now begin to try to lower my carbon footprint. Even though I cannot change somethings like going on trips with my family I can still make small changes that can make a difference. One thing I am planning to try and do more often is to carpool more often so there can be fewer fossil fuels burning releasing CO2 into the atmosphere. Another thing that I can do it by turning more lights off during the daytime or turning them off when nobody is in the room. Doing these things could really help me better my carbon footprint.
