Now It's Time for Action!

All of you have calculated your emissions and you have surely discovered the unexpectedly high impact of some of your behaviors (eating meat, flying to a sunny destination, etc.) on your total footprints.

Are there any behaviors that you are really willing to change or to improve for the sake of the environment? What challenges do you encounter or think you will encounter while trying to change these things? What help, support, and insights from others would make your life easier with these new behaviors?

After I received my carbon footprint total I was quite surprised to see my result , especially in the home energy usage category. After seeing these, I wanted to make a change in daily regime. For instance, rather than using an air conditioner constantly, I am willing to start using fans more often in my home. I would also refrain constantly using my heater after school. In addition, I will begin making sure all lights in my house are turned off when I leave my home. My main challenge in executing these action are actually remembering to do this. However, I would also love suggestions for an alternative for heaters.
