Now It's Time for Action!

All of you have calculated your emissions and you have surely discovered the unexpectedly high impact of some of your behaviors (eating meat, flying to a sunny destination, etc.) on your total footprints.

Are there any behaviors that you are really willing to change or to improve for the sake of the environment? What challenges do you encounter or think you will encounter while trying to change these things? What help, support, and insights from others would make your life easier with these new behaviors?

Let's discuss these issues and make our pledges here!

My Improvements

One thing I will try to do is to take public transport or carpool as much as possible. My transportation carbon output was ridiculously high because I flew to China, and although I don't travel often, I think that lowering carbon emissions elsewhere is an easy way to help the environment. Making sure I always travel with other people means that carbon emissions per capita are much lower.

I also agree with you, I did some research and found that gasoline is one of the highest used non-renewable energy source. To maintain order, carpooling is a great option. It optimizes the amount of fuel being used and released into our atmosphere and helps bring our earth closer to a greener solution. Not only does it help the environment, carpooling can even help you. It can lower traveling cost, since you won't have to buy as much gas.  https://wheelzine.com/why-is-carpooling … nvironment

I told my parents about our results and I suggested them to make a small garden for the vegetables that came out very useful. I try to walk more, and if I go somewhere I use the bicycle instead of the car. Likewise, I hope that in the future, we will buy solar panels that will help us with the electricity bills as well as the environment.

I drive with car very often and i think that it is not so much needed. I can go to almost all of that places by bicycle or just walk rather than driving with car. That’s thing i would like to change and I hope I will.
