All of you have calculated your emissions and you have surely discovered the unexpectedly high impact of some of your behaviors (eating meat, flying to a sunny destination, etc.) on your total footprints.

Are there any behaviors that you are really willing to change or to improve for the sake of the environment? What challenges do you encounter or think you will encounter while trying to change these things? What help, support, and insights from others would make your life easier with these new behaviors?

Making Changes In Our Carbon Footprint

One step can make a huge difference in our carbon footprint. A change I am willing to make to reduce the carbon footprint is starting by making changes in my own carbon footprint and then spreading the word to family and friends. I could start by decreasing the amount of time we have the lights on in places that aren't being used and by turning off the faucet while brushing my teeth only opening it when needed. Also by taking a shorter time taking showers. These changes can help and if we all contribute and are willing to make these changes we would have a better carbon footprint.
