All of you have calculated your emissions and you have surely discovered the unexpectedly high impact of some of your behaviors (eating meat, flying to a sunny destination, etc.) on your total footprints.

Are there any behaviors that you are really willing to change or to improve for the sake of the environment? What challenges do you encounter or think you will encounter while trying to change these things? What help, support, and insights from others would make your life easier with these new behaviors?

Let's discuss these issues and make our pledges here!

Spreading positive examples thru social media

chiarama

Our generation is constantly influenced by social media, everyday 500 milion people scroll their feed on Instagram and facebook liking random pictures without "learning" anything. What if we could learn something useful instad?
We're always looking at popular people's lifestyle and think how lucky they are because they're rich, have an exciting life and travel a lot... sometimes we're even jeaolus of them, and want to be like them, but can you imagine wanting to be like these people because they help the planet? or because they lead a super sustainable lifestyle?
In my opinion at the moment there's not enough famous and influential people on the internet who tries to give a good example. On instagram so many young people are totally influenced by their idol or favorite influencer, but which values are these people sharing? Certainly not useful and meaningful ones!
I'm sure that if digital entrepreneurs started sharing how they try to consume and waste less, a lot of their fans would start doing the same, stimulating a positive exchange of ideas about how to lead a more s ustainable lifestyle.
I know it's a really modern way to see a way of changing, maybe it's crazy to think that social media could help the planet, but right now Instagram, Facebook and Twitter are the most followed exchange platform for many things, so why no even for the ecological purpose?
