People Suck
So i know that seems wrong to say. But right now people are caring about getting to the new IPhone. But not caring about all the kids, teens, adults, and elderly who are starving. Maybe if everyone had a good supply of food and water, some of the world problems would go away. and not to mention that our brand smacking new IPhones are killing the planet. We only have one Earth! yes, i do have an IPhone and yes i may just be some teenager but people need to start realizing that we are killing ourselves and others. and we lock people up for murder, when we are murdering others with our daily use of things. We are cutting down our forest and putting oil in our waters, one day we will run out of our food and water. Maybe we should focus on that instead.

some people "suck" in this way, but not all. The hope is that more and more people are waking up to the realities that you are expressing.
There is something that people need to understand. We are all society, we make up the world. Yet everyone around the world is complaining about the problem but no one is doing anything about it. I think that if you have time to write this comment you could have had time to make a change. There is something that should be said, complaining about the problem will not make it go away.Yet if we want to make a change, why not give ideas as how we can all contribute in a way, not just state the problem, 
Yes we should worry about water running out but not about food unless you are a vegetarian. Cows pigs and chickens will all reproduce so food will not be that big of a problem in the future. On the other hand water can be a problem especially in the west (western US). We are suffering a major drought and it will be hard to recover from. Also people do want the new iphone and nice clothes but they also care about the earth food and water they just may not show it.
People might not show that they care about water and food and people that don't have as much as them. But may they do, they just don't talk about it 24/7.
I understand where your coming from though. Many people only think about getting the new iPhone or new clothes instead of giving something to the people that have almost nothing.
