Me and some of my friends in my group were thinking if anyone here could tell us a little bit about their life ! here is some list of questions that we have in mind !
1. where do you live?
2. what kind of house do you live in ?
3. What was you´re footprint and is it above average or lower than you´re country/world wide ?
4.why do you think it is that way ?
5.do you own a car and if you have, does it have much effect on you´re footprint.

I have thought about these questions my self and my answers where these:
1. I live on a farm in south Iceland.
2. I live in a single family house with three other people.
3. My footprint was 7205 kg of CO2 per year and that is similar to the Icelandic score which is 7883 kg but much more than the  world score which is 3791 kg
4. I think it is because we have very good living condition here in Iceland
5. I have a merzedes-benz and yes it has much effect on my score because it burns much gasoline and I have to drive to school every day from my farm.

1. I live in a house in the far west USA.
2. I live in a single family home with 4 other people.
3.My total footprint is 9337 kg of CO₂ per year, which is below the average of 9727 kg for my state, but above the world's average.
4.I think my family is not active in being environmentally conscious especially with transportation and water.  Our home garden, and use of reusable bags I believe made us below average for our area.
5.We just switched from a Prius to a Camry hybrid and I drive it to my school and sports practices and this increases my score a lot probably.

3. My total footprint was 230912 kg of CO2 per year, compared to Ghana which has an average of 1261 kg per year, and 3791 kg worldwide
4. Personally, my family and I travel a lot during the year, and to far places. Each flight is approximately 8-9 hours. This is the main reason why my footprint is high.
5. My family and I own three cars, and yes it has much effect on my score because of the large usage of gas, and number of drives per day.

3- My total footprint was 13,500 of CO2 per year, which was much higher compared to Ghana which had an average of 1261 kg per year and worldwide which was 3791 kg
4- I think my footprint was higher than the average because my family and I travel a lot in a year, and we use up a lot of energy traveling.
5- My family and I own 4 cars, and one of them is used for me to go to school everyday, and uses up a lot of gas going to school and coming back from school.

I live in a bungalow, a one floor house.
3. What was you´re footprint and is it above average or lower than you´re country/world wide ?
My carbon footprint is 3210. It is greater than the average carbon footprint in Ghana but less than the average of the world.
4.why do you think it is that way ?
I think this is because my family lives in a simple lifestyle and we constantly recycle bags. We are very economic and manage with what we have without over-consumption. A lot of my relatives also live in the same house as me therefore we all use one energy without having several houses for each family and therefore consuming more energy.
5.do you own a car and if you have, does it have much effect on you´re footprint.
I do not have a car. My family uses public transportation to go to school and various other places.

4. I think my footprint was higher than the average because my family and I travel a lot during the year and i have a lot of sports tournaments that involve traveling, and we use up a lot of energy traveling.
5.My family and I own 4 cars, and one of them is used for me to go to school everyday. It uses up a lot of gas going to go to school and come back aswell as sports after school and going out during the week.

4.The reason why my footprint was higher than the average is because i live a different live then the average Ghanaian. I travel a lot and never use public transport. No matter where i go i use the car and we use a lot of electronics within the house, which is a lot higher than the average of a ghanaian.
5.Yes my family owns 3 cars, and this does increase my carbon footprint by a lot. I use these to school everyday and over the weekend driving to the mall, friends etc. Basically they are always in use.

Well I don't have all of that information on the top of my head but I live in the united states. I go to school unless I'm sick I don't go many places I don't travel I'm a sophomore in high school and I spend a lot of time reading and writing (along with schoolwork) though I also have stuff I do pertaining to my religion anyway that's pretty much my everyday life

1) I live in California.
2) I live in a detached single family home with three other people, and my dog.
3) My total footprint is 9551 kg of CO2 per year, which is a little lower than California's footprint of 9727 kg of CO2 per year but way higher than the worldwide average of 3791 kg of CO2 per year.
4) I think that my footprint value is super high because driving is my main type of transportation and my house does use a lot of electricity...we have 26 wall outlets in our house and some appliances (like our alarm clocks, fridge, washer/dryer, stove and oven) stay plugged in 24/7 even when we aren't using them.
5) And yes, my family owns 2 cars (Subarus) that averages 25 mpg each. I do think that these cars impact my footprint because it's my main mode of transportation. There aren't bus stops near my house, and biking anywhere isn't really possible since I live near a freeway.
Still, is it possible for you to elaborate on why Iceland has "good l iving conditions"? I think it's crazy how Iceland's carbon footprint is almost 2000 kg less than the state of California! And from previous comments, California creates 8466 kg of CO2 more per year than Ghana.

1. I live in San Leandro, California.
2. I live in a two-story home which uses up 3729 kg of CO2 per year.
3. My carbon footprint was 14139 kg of CO₂ per year, compared to
an average of 9727 kg for California, USA, and 3791 kg (= 8358 lb) worldwide. As you can tell, my carbon footprint was definitely higher than that of my state's, but even more so, EXTREMELY higher than that of the average carbon footprint worldwide.
4. I believe that many factors come into play to my high carbon footprint but mainly the amount of food I eat. In my own life, I find that I have been blessed to always be able to eat out often and unfortunately I usually have my own leftovers which I usually don't touch after. In addition, in order to eat out - I drive.
5. I do own a car, I often drive a LOT, never really realizing how much energy it takes up. However, I find it difficult not to drive a lot because in order to get places, it is necessary. Such places include school everyday and work, which is high in the hills, meaning even more gas is used on that drive alone considering it takes more t o drive up. Also, I travel a lot, especially to southern California (about 300 miles away) for at least 3 or 4 times a year. My family altogether owns 4 cars, but I do feel that this many is not necessary, for transportation itself costs me 3846 kg of of CO2 per year compared to the average 2557 kg in my region.
