Food & Hunger

What did you learn about dietary choices from using the footprint calculator? Now imagine that you could translate what you learned into an effective societal policy on food- what would it be? And how would this policy effect the need to alleviate world hunger?

925 million people on earth do not have enough to eat according to the FAO [Food and Agricultural Organization]. That's almost 1 in 7 inhabitants of our planet!

my family grow tomato basil sprouts and other plants scutes your .We went to the store and are very healthy for the body and I think more people should begin to build their garden because it will definitely help the Earth and reduce carbon footprint. Planting a vegetable garden also offers a pleasure to enjoy, delicious sun-warmed tomatoes from the garden. In almost every case, aroma and texture varieties can grow far outweigh the best grocery store produce.Gradina own is a good idea for our health. We eat healthy all the time

My family grows peaches in our backyard. Each July we get to eat them which saves us trips to the grocery store and money. We're thinking about making a garden with more fresh produce to reduce my (our) carbon footprint.
