What did you learn about dietary choices from using the footprint calculator? Now imagine that you could translate what you learned into an effective societal policy on food- what would it be? And how would this policy effect the need to alleviate world hunger?
925 million people on earth do not have enough to eat according to the FAO [Food and Agricultural Organization]. That's almost 1 in 7 inhabitants of our planet!

Helping with Food and Hunger
I think that families can eat in smaller portions and not buy so much food at a time because families tend to go food shopping they buy a lot more than is needed. Also, places can stop packaging so much in a portion while your buying food. If families are going to continue to buy more food, they should try and donate and help people in need get things that they need in order to have a better and more sustainable life.
