What did you learn about dietary choices from using the footprint calculator? Now imagine that you could translate what you learned into an effective societal policy on food- what would it be? And how would this policy effect the need to alleviate world hunger?
925 million people on earth do not have enough to eat according to the FAO [Food and Agricultural Organization]. That's almost 1 in 7 inhabitants of our planet!

Food and Hunger
I believe there are many people around the world who are starving and I know for a fact we can do something about it. There are many ways we can help, its just a matter of finding them out. One way of helping people who are starving is helping out homeless people. When they are begging for money instead bring them a meal so you know that the money you spent was for their food and they wouldn't have used it for drugs or something like that. Another way you can help out is not wasting it. When you waste food, you easily could've thrown something away that (as dramatic as it sounds) could helped save someones life. To sum everything up, there are many ways we can help people who are starving you just have to figure out how and when.
I fully agree with what you've said here. Starvation is a problem every country faces and it is easily solvable. Food drives, donations, and even colunteer work at a soup kitchen. Every thing counts. Keep up the great work.
I think that people should watch how much food they eat because a lot of the times people ave left over food and this often gets wasted and there are many people who would have eaten that food. I think people could send money to companies that help homeless people and we could try to send non-perishable foods to countries that need food.
