Food For All
First of all, feeding everyone in the world would be extremely difficult. Our would is approaching on 8 billion people. We don't help our situation because the way that our agricultural system is set up is to feed only half the world while the other has either no food or very little. It happens to be that the countries that have the hungriest people are the ones some of the largest areas. For example India, home to about 1.3 billion people. The country is the second largest being nearly 1.3 million square miles. I have personally been to India and I have see the intense poverty there. In the tourist areas such as Agra, where the Taj Mahal is, the poverty was especially bad. Instead of developing countries focusing on tourism, which they need to keep their countries stable, they should spend more time creating farm land. I am not saying that they should end tourism because that would sink these countries but instead divert that money into areas that could be used to produce food. In areas where tourism isn't a big source of revenue, a possible solution could be adapting t o a more modern farming style. It is a very big proposition because it would involve a large outside effort, but if it was possible, it could tremendously change the direction that our food waste is going. Instead of buying excess food, people could donate that extra money and provide for other people around the globe.
