Water Pollution
The water quality issues in China have gained some attention. Officials monitor China's water at 12,226 sites across the country. The results have been scary finding that only 35 percent are in good water quality. Another 32 percent are not suitable for human contact use. Some places are fine for agriculture but not direct Human contact. This polluted water raises a number of issues.
This Dirty Water which is unfortunate for China can spread to other parts of the world by dumping into the world's Oceans. With this much of their water polluted, that means it can easily travel and taint the rest of the world's water. That water can have waterborne diseases which they would travel into the world's oceans. THis would carry it to foreign places and affect the people there possibly creating an outbreak. ALso, the oceans life can be affected by the polluted water's diseases and this could kill the ocean's animals. With ocean animals dying the food chain and order could be thrown off.
Another issue is the agriculture China has and how it has been polluted due to the water . Unclean water can taint the food which uses that water. That pollution which doesn't seem harmful because it is going to the plants can, in fact, be transferred to the humans or animals eating the plants. China's agriculture could be shut down for these reasons and this would raise the global food price.
Polluted water is a serious problem which can lead to more and more problems. If it is unsolved and not fixed it can affect millions not just in China
