The Benefits of Going Vegan and Vegetarian

maeherpusabod7sr

Timothy Searchinger once said, "The single most important thing is to eat less beef", beef is the most inefficient product to harvest, on average about 1% of energy from beef is transferred to humans who eat it. Producing animals like, chicken, pig, and beef, emits more carbon dioxide, methane, and nitrous oxide into the atmosphere. The United Nations agree that going vegetarian is an essential step to maintaining a healthy level of greenhouses gases within out planet. PETA states that going vegan can significantly reduced a person's "ecological footprint" permitting people to "tread lightly on the planet and be compassionate to its inhabitants."
