What did you learn about dietary choices from using the footprint calculator? Now imagine that you could translate what you learned into an effective societal policy on food- what would it be? And how would this policy effect the need to alleviate world hunger?
925 million people on earth do not have enough to eat according to the FAO [Food and Agricultural Organization]. That's almost 1 in 7 inhabitants of our planet!

Grocery Stores
Create grocery stores with cheap and healthy fruits and vegetables.
Yes! Some products are ridiculously overpriced and if it isn’t bought, most is just tossed. If at a reasonable price, more would probably be put to good use.
I agree there should be grocery stores that sell cheap and healthy fruits and vegetables. Because every grocery store that I go to that sells organic fruits and vegetables cost more than artificially grown foods. So it's like people are paying more just to eat healthy.
Fruits in vegetables are really expensive in the grocery store, and it seems like they don't last long. It is really easy to say we need to lower the price of food, but you have to think about the production, and shipping prices of many items. There is much more that goes into growing or producing foods, but spending more money on food than other products is a better solution.
