The plastic coating on food is a huge contributor to the size of the garbage patches in the ocean and the amount of waste we produce. Also, during packaging and other plastic products are harming aquatic life such as sea turtles, seals, fish, and dolphins. We need to find better packaging for our food and drink that is not hurting the ocean.
