Family Diet
One of the main staples in my family's day-to-day dinner plate is some kind of meat, whether it's chicken, beef, or pork. Eating meat was the largest contributor to how large my family's diet was. Little did I know that the more meat we ate, the higher our carbon footprint would rise. We are now trying to reduce the amount we eat since we are now aware of the effect we had. This shows how communication affects whether or not we can make a major difference in the reduction of our carbon footprints.

My family ate a lot of meat. When I calculate my footprint, I discovered that also meat produces CO2. In internet I found out that meat produces more CO2 than I was expecting. I didn’t know that eating more than 100g Beef per day emit 7.2kg of carbon dioxide emissions. I can imagine how much CO2 we have produced only eating meat. Now, thanks to these discoveries, I have managed to convince my family to eat less meat. We eat one or two times in a week. I agree with your last sentence. If everyone takes the initiative of reducing the own footprint, CO2 emissions would decrease. On the contrary, if everyone would be like the people who say that it is useless changing their lifestyle because only a person who has changed is too little on seven milliard people, the world would stay the same and the CO2 emissions would increase.
