My family's Footprint Calculation
When I was calculating out my family's footprint, I saw that my family's transportation and home output was higher than most for my region. For transportation, the footprint was 9,849 kilograms, which is 3,462 kilograms more than the average. I was shocked by the carbon output. For my home and appliances, the output was 10,654 kilograms. Those were the ones that shocked me most because I thought my family was relatively cautious when it came to helping the environment. Now that I am aware of the output of carbon being made, I plan on making some changes in my life style, which included making sure to turn off my lights when I leave the house and riding my bike places.
