MY Family Footprint

Many students using our footprint calculator said that they could not pledge to reduce their home footprints because they were not making the decisions for the household. Here is your chance to design your own sustainable virtual household!

If you had your own home, what would you do to make it more energy efficient? Where would you get your electricity from? Where would your house be? Would you live near to your school or work or local transit options? Where would you get your food from?

Carbon from the environment.

Recently, I have heard that the carbon footprint increases with the number of carbon batteries we use. Carbon atoms from batteries form carbon dioxide and methane gas, with oxygen and hydrogen from air.In my country, the possibility of recycling batteries is very low, so, many people throw batteries together with household waste.
My family uses a lot of fuel to heat the house and transport. This thing pollutes the air with different synthesis gases! Consequently, the carbon footprint is very high. Right now, I do not know how to reduce fuel consumption, but after I did this test ,I started turn off the light when I am away from home.
